eBay Finds - Walter Wolf RG500 on eBay right now!!

Looks awesome! A little more info (er, and more photos) would be nice though. Bike is in Canada, but Im willing to bet he would ship - especially at the price he's asking (almost 25,000 CAD) - woah.

Cagiva Mito 125 with RZ-350 Motor? Crazy Rz350 Hybrid...

WOAH!! Now this would be fun! I believe you can buy the mito 125 here in the states as a street legal bike.  Regardless - tell me that a 140 kilo (wet) - bike with a RZ motor wouldnt be a riot.

These fellas make a conversion kit for the Mito - complete with a CNC bracket to bolt the motor into the frame.

And here is one of their projects...

Another finished (and ultra sexy) - project using this kit... I want one.

RZ350 Hybrid - looks amazing

GT750 Cafe Racer BEAST

Check out this Hollanders CRAZY GT-750 Suzuki Cafe Racer TR-750 Replica. Insane! It might as well be a TR-750, and I bet its not far off. Looks like a lot of hard work and love went into creating this beast. I cant forget the 170mph 1976 Barry Sheene crash - where the monster TR finally bit someone hard... he was damn lucky to walk away from that with his life and limbs intact. I digress... onto the aforementioned GT-750 replica - here are some pics, and a video! Love that two-stroke noise.

crazy hollander - i guess it takes one to know one ;)

Radical RZ350 / TZ250 Hybrid

From the looks of it, coming along nicely! Checkout the dry clutch, the sweet aluminum frame courtesy of the tz250, and the r1 (or at least it looks like a r1) - front suspension, forks (ohlins maybe?)... for some reason carbon on tw-stroke bike chambers just looks so right. This guy has some insane fabrication skills.

Putting a rz350 motor in a tz frame was always one of my dreams. I just really, really dislike the look of the RZ frame and tank... it looks 80's - and a bit tired. I do understand that it functions perfectly fine, and stuffing a rz motor in a tz250 frame is a huge undertaking. still- for the fact that its going to look like sexy gp race machine when your done- isnt it worth it? The answer, to me, is yes.

I believe this is the original build thread, did the best I could to hunt down the italian original version. Looks to me like he is just welding up the expansion chambers, and fitting them in this thread though... hmm.

If anyone finds the original please post it in the comments!

Now, with some proper plastics on it and a paint job, this tz250 / rz350  beast would really look rad. Not that it doesnt look good naked either...

Dry clutch --- mmm, reminds me of my 900ss!

Sexy RD400 Heads

After my last post, I just realized... those heads aren't painted, they are gold anodized... duh! And, to make it even better- I found the exact RG (albeit replica) heads the guy below used on his RD400!

UGH - ME WANT!!! http://www.hvccycle.com/Radial%20Heads.html

Too bad $500 is about what I could spend on a entire project two-stroke bike!

I guess, if heads can be considered sexy, I consider these basically bike part porn.

RD250 Two-Stroke Tracker

Sometimes I really like the look of the "tracker" style bikes. I'm not entirely sure I would actually take one off roading, but down a gravel fire road at 90mph? Sure- why not! This fella put a incredible amount of work into his rd250 street tracker project. http://www.dotheton.com/forum/index.php?topic=12857.40

I was really interested in the gauge he used as well, which is apparently from a company called electrosport. Looks like JEGs carrys a good selection of them.

He even welded up his own chambers for it, and by the looks of it did most of the paintwork himself! Insane. Good lordy I wish I had that much time on my hands (and $$$).

this rd250 tracker is done up right... looks the business.

I know the expression "more fun than watching paint dry" - and I got a kick out of this shot. That's actually not a bad makeshift baking oven there! Haha!

When the end result is a amazing 2 stroke tracker, watching paint dry IS fun!

Super Clean RD400 Restoration

Take a peek at this super clean RD400 restoration! Wow... I LOVE IT!! Check out the treatment on the engine - love the two tone look. Im not quite sure what pipes he is running but they look amazing to me. Wow... just wow. I would consider giving a kidney, or maybe a family jewel to have a RD like this.

Judging my this guys garage (with the RZ350 in it that I also want) - he has got some serious cash to toss around. That always helps with a restoration job doesn't it? What a fantastic looking rd, this is what a two-stroke restoration should look like.

UPDATE - I guess this is a 1977, but was repainted 1976 Geneva Green. Whoever did the paint did a amazing job. Apparently the Dyna ignition is a smart update for these bikes as well, since the stock setup sucked, and by now is pretty decrepit, crappy and generally poopy.

What do you think?
